Speakman Company is known throughout North America for its engineered emergency eyewash and emergency safety shower solutions, as well as iconic shower heads and fashion and commercial plumbing.
The company dates to 1869, when brothers Allen and Joseph Speakman opened a modest plumbing workshop in Wilmington, Del. With a pioneering spirit and an unwavering dedication to quality, the brothers were granted their first patent in 1906 for a single-handle faucet. They eventually received more than 100 patents for their plumbing designs and innovations, including one for the world’s first adjustable shower head. More recent innovations include powerful, water-saving showerheads that meet today’s demands for reduced water consumption.
Speakman engineers each solution at its facility in Glen Mills, PA, and they are now available at premier retailers and distributers throughout the world.
